The Department of Researches and consultancies

 The Department of Researches and consultancies is authorized in:

1. Implementing the Institute’s projects plans in the fields of researches, consultancies, translation and publishing
2. Giving advice in the organizational and administrative aspects or the States Administrative Body and the public corporations and institutions.
3. Setting organizational and administrative studies and researches for the State’s Administrative Body and the public corporations and institutions.
4. Publishing, documenting and collecting administrative data.
5. Forming research and consultancy teams in the Institute and making a follow-up for them.
6. Issuing the scientific magazine for the Institute and the periodicals and manuals.
7. Supporting, encouraging and publishing researches and scientific and applied studies for the Institute.
8. Organizing and holding scientific symposiums and seminars.
9. Providing a data-base including the necessary information about the researchers and consultants adopted by the Institute from the state or from outside.

Fields of work:
  1. The consultancy & research department applies and practices state-of-the-art approaches in its undertaking. The fields of consultancy cover the following range of specialties:
  2. Evaluation and setting up of strategies.
  3. Organizing and (Restructuring) reorganizing organizational structures.
  4. Preparation of organizational, administrative and financial charts.
  5. Reviewing organizational charts and submitting proposals for their development.
  6. Preparation of procedural and organizational guides & manuals.
  7. The study, analysis and development of systems and methods of service provision.
  8. Feasibility studies for economic viability of projects.
  9. Preparation of accounting systems and costing systems.
  10. Habilitation of institutions to obtain total quality certification.
  11. Preparation of training programs for staff working at various administrative levels.
  12. Evaluation of in-house control systems in government agencies and other institutions.
  13. Streamlining work procedures for concerned institutions.
  14. Development of manual and computerized information systems and setting up of data bases.
  15. Preparation of filing systems by using modern techniques.

Procedures :


All consultancy requests go through the following procedures

  1. Apply to IAD managing director with specifications for needed consultancy services.
  2. The consultancy and research department reviews and determines the applicant’s needs then contacts the beneficiary officially.
  3. The beneficiary signs a contract with IAD.
  4. A pre-final draft of the consultancy report is discussed with the beneficiary.
  5. A final copy of the consultancy report is officially handed over by IAD Managing Director.
