The department of Planning and Development is authorized in

  1. Specifying the training and consultancy needs, and the applied studies for the governmental Cadre through coordination with the Government Human Resources Department and other governmental bodies.
  2. Setting training, consultancies and applied annual researches for the Institute through coordination with other concerned departments of the Institute.
  3. Setting and developing the necessary standards to guarantee the quality of training and rehabilitation programs and the academic and vocational accreditation of the trainers and the local and international centers of training and rehabilitation.
  4. Setting and developing programs and training kits according to international standards and which meet the training and the rehabilitation needs of the various governmental bodies.
  5. Setting the plans for connecting training with job track through cooperation with the Governmental Human Resources Department and Cabinet secretariat-general.
  6. Studying and reviewing the Institute’s work strategy and developing it as needed.
  7. Incorporating the values of distinction and competitive ability in the plans of the Institute.
  8. Revising continually the performance of the scientific divisions affiliated to the Institute and suggesting the necessary programs for enhancing the performance.
  9. Disseminating the culture of quality among all the members of the staff of training in the Institute.
  10. Exchanging experiences with the corporations and organizations of Quality Assurance and Accreditation at the local and international levels.
